History

Construction managers, business owners, banks, and residential customers have utilized the wide range of services offered by the professional staff at Kem-Tec, a Group of Companies, for their construction, survey, and engineering needs for more than three decades.

Since its founding as Kem-Tec Land Surveyors in 1981 as a five-person office in Warren, MI, the company has grown to serve the needs of our clients by utilizing the latest in technology with old-fashioned customer service.

Over the years, Kem-Tec has become the largest volume producer of mortgage surveys in its market segment. To better serve our customers, and to provide a full suite of services to our clients under one roof, Kem-Tec, a Group of Companies, was formed.

With the addition of an associates group, Kem-Tec has been able to better serve the construction industry and the multiple types of survey and engineering needs of the commercial, residential, industrial, and institutional marketplace.

This growth has allowed the company to expand from the home office in Eastpointe to include additional offices in Ann Arbor, Detroit, and Grand Blanc, to better serve our customers.

As we have added staff, state-of-the-art equipment, and services to become more versatile, we have continued our commitment to our core principles of efficient, accurate, and personalized service to our customers; support of charitable causes in our community and providing co-op programs to students; and providing a positive work environment for our employees which encourages individual growth and advancement.
